Today is the last day of the year and we are very excited for the days to come in 2018. This year has been such an eventful period full of accomplishments and struggles as in every early stage startup. Most importantly, so many people have made an impact on our journey in 2017 and we hope to bring you several great news in 2018. And now, when heading into 2018, we would like to thank you all.

For us, the year started with acceleration program in Turbiini and we would like to show our gratitude to Hannes, Tiina and Misa for their valuable contribution to our growth. We learned a lot during the process and continue using the principles learned.

We met so many awesome people during 2017 and many of those through IGDA Finland events. Thank you, IGDA Finland community for the support and many wonderful events. We have learned many tips and tricks from long term players in Finnish gaming industry. We are very happy to be part of this community.

As we are using game environment to reach out to ill children, we are balancing between gaming industry and healthcare ecosystem. And from the latter, we became part of Estonian Connected Health Cluster and collaborated with Finnish Health Innovation Village. It is very heartwarming to see how supportive healthcare ecosystem is in Finland and in Estonia, being part of the community has resulted in many positive outcomes for us.

Moreover, we have designed and developed our solution together with users from the beginning. It has been a wonderful learning experience and we value all discussions and feedback from medical personnel, psychologists, nurses and doctors. We have taken this input very seriously and incorporated the feedback into our platform, thank you so much for contributing!

Additionally, thank you, Kympin Lapset and EVLVL for helping us in piloting our platform, without you it would have been very difficult. Through this network we were able to reach out to parents to whom we are incredibly thankful for giving us feedback on the content related to different components of our solution. It has been so kind of you to contribute to our platform development while going through the tough journey of cancer treatment, you are truly amazing! And our true superheroes are of course patients testing our solution, making it possible to design and develop with children. We are on the road of creating an effective and attractive solution that is designed together with users and it would be impossible without the valuable feedback from children. You are always on our thoughts, superheroes!

All of this would be of course impossible without our awesome team! We learned that not all teams are formed perfect from the beginning and changes in team structure are inevitable. But the key here is to learn from the experience and to acknowledge that all people who have been part of the team at one point have made a wonderful impact, thank you! Now we are a very strong team and leading this awesome team has been the best experience I have ever had. It makes me incredibly happy to see how we are growing as a team and as individuals. I feel with this team we can accomplish anything.

Of course funding is crucial as well. This year we successfully secured pre-seed angel investment round, thank you investors Mait Metelitsa and Sander Orhidejev for believing in us! We would also like to thank funding institutions such as Tekes (Business Finland), AVEK and TE-Toimisto for supporting our company and product development.

And last but not least, we are happy to be selected among Top30 most promising business ideas in Estonia at Ajujaht. This valuable opportunity to be part of the acceleration programme has already been beneficial for us with new advisors contributing to our development.

The kick-off post of year 2018 will cover our Top 5 accomplishments in 2017 and Top 5 goals for 2018 so stay tuned.

Happy New Year!
