One month from the start of the war in Ukraine - our game available for free to relieve the mental burden amongst children
Triumf Health, an Estonian based health technology start-up, which is developed with the purpose of offering children age-appropriate psychological and health behavioural support embedded into a fun game environment, has offered their solution, Triumf Hero, free of charge for a little over two weeks. Triumf Hero is available in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Estonia and during the course of last week has added Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark to the list of the countries that the solution is available in.

The updated version is available free of charge.

As a response to the war in Ukraine we are launching an updated version of our solution - Triumfland Saga (formerly Triumf Hero) to support the mental health of children in the most natural way for them - through gamified digital therapeutics.
Why does children’s mental health matter?
Children understand, know and feel much more than most adults believe they do. As they develop, so does their mental health, and any support received during childhood will benefit them as they grow up, even into adulthood. During such times of uncertainty and darkness as we are facing now, the best thing we can do for children is to support them in learning how to cope with stress, anxiety and negative feelings.

Our Chief Impact Officer Liina Melanie Sarapik represented Triumf Health at this conference by the European Framework for Action on Mental Health 2021-2025 (EFAMH) through the pan-European Mental Health Coalition. You can read more about it in the blog post.

Breakfast with the President
This morning, the President of Estonia Alar Karis met with the top six young entrepreneurs in Estonia, as chosen by Eesti Kaubandus- ja Tööstuskoda and LHV, for breakfast and discussion. Our CEO Dr. Kadri Haljas was one of the President’s six guests and the only woman; Estonia may be a small country, but having breakfast with the president is nonetheless a big deal!
An even bigger deal is that during the presidential breakfast the discussion revolved around the importance of mental health! Dr. Kadri Haljas had the opportunity to tell the President about what we are doing at Triumf Health and as it turns out, he shares our mission and vision.
Students, inclusivity, and mental health
For years we at Triumf Health have advocated for children’s mental health and wellbeing by attending different events to support other organizations, going to schools to talk to students about mental health, and promoting general advocacy and awareness wherever we can. Last week our Chief Impact Officer Liina Melanie Sarapik participated in a webinar hosted by the Estonian LGBT Association on the newspaper Postimees’s Education Portal. The theme of the panel discussion was “Who is afraid of LGBT+ students?” and discussion revolved around the results of the research, workshops and campaigning that had been done in the past year.
Innovation in treatment of depression
On Friday, 10. December 2021, a webinar about the use of innovation in the treatment of depression was hosted at Tehnopol, the largest science park in the Baltics. Our CEO Dr. Kadri Haljas was one of the main organizers as well as a panel speaker at the event, which drew a very large online audience.
